A person learns better when their mind is in a receptive state. Stress, comes in degrees or types. Some stress may be good and a motivating factor. Too much stress can block the learning process. Our spieces have developed with stress as a mechanism for survival that prepares the body for flight or fight. Please do not punch or run from your computer. Extreme stress might heighten memory for a short duration, however the memory will be associated with negative or avoidance feelings. Very extreme stress can bring PTSD or amnesia.
